1. Rest when you need to. If you are tired, give yourself permission to relax, take a nap or free your mind before bedtime. The laundry, dishes, and the work you didn’t finish today will still be waiting for you tomorrow.
2. Feel joy every day. Sing, dance, or play music while you do your chores; take a walk and enjoy nature.
3. Let go of toxic relationships. Toxic people will drain you. Work on creating relationships with people who support you as you are.
4. Love your body. Stop comparing yourself to people in the media. Dress the way you want. Do your hair the way you like it. If you don’t feel comfortable showing your look in public then stay home but try something outside of your comfort zone.
5. Trust your instincts. Is it time for a new career path, a new health or fitness program, or simply the time to speak up, say what you mean and mean what you say!
6. Simplify your life. What matters to you? Don’t let yourself get derailed by drama. Look for the most direct way for you!

7. Forgive yourself. Forgiveness is a process. Find time every day to practice forgiveness.
8. Say “yes” or “no”. Saying “yes” to yourself is empowering. Say “yes” to whatever you want in your life, and say “no” to whatever you don’t want. Ask a friend to ask you to do something ridiculous and practice saying “No!” You’ll be surprised how it will help.
9. Feel the guilt. If you have reason to feel guilty, own it! Spend time forgiving yourself or making amends. Realize that some guilt is probably just cultural programming. Open your eyes and mind to it and then release it.
10. Be yourself. Accept yourself exactly as you are. You don’t have to fit any mold or anyone else’s perception of who you are suppose to be.
