When I think back on New Year’s Day; I realize that my resolutions have always remained the same.
I vow to work out, eat better, save money, go to church more regularly and most importantly, Clean Out my Underwear Drawer. Don’t ask me why I always include clean out my underwear drawer. I might be the only person that puts that on the list to do in the New Year but it’s one thing that I make sure gets done!
As we face the New Year, don’t limit yourselves. Keep those resolutions intact.
Taking care of yourself is a must. If you’re not OK and you’re not putting yourself first; then what good are you to your loved ones.
The world is different today; it’s one bad news story after another. Is there a way to make a difference? Not one person can save the entire world but as a team we could each take the baby steps of making a difference in our own area and maybe even stretch a little further to make a difference in a strangers’ life.
We have an obligation to turn the negative into a positive. A good deed can spread like wild fire. Maybe someone’s who been helped will help another and before you know it, a domino effect! With small steps we can make the world a better place.
Take care of yourself, take care of your loved ones and go out of your way to make a difference in someone else’s life. Keep God as your center and stay humble.
And don’t forget to clean out your underwear drawer.
Happy New year from Last Call Mediation!
