Bring a Realistic view of the issues in the dispute.

  • Think about the Presentation of your view point. What are your needs and goals?

  • Do you have a Clear Understanding of the other parties needs and goals?

  • Do you have a Willingness to Compromise?

  • Are you prepared to Listen?

  • Have you Explored Options? Have you received Other Advice? Evaluated different settlement Scenarios?

  • Are you Flexible?

  • Are you Open to a resolution that might not give you everything you want today?

  • Are you Willing to make a decision and then Focus on the Future?

If you can answer these questions, are willing to have a conversation with the

other party in an open and honest manner, be able to share all relevant

information and documentation necessary, and participate in good faith; then

you are ready for mediation.

Good Luck!
